Kim Namjoon Painted Illustration

This piece was a result of my first experience using acrylic washes to create a painted illustration. From the process of the sketch, to putting in the colors one section at a time, it was a new experience for me. I really enjoy how it turned out, and it got me interested in a new art form that I could do again if I desired to do so. I think it has a nice painterly feel due to the texture. The painting itself is of the artist Kim Namjoon (AKA RM) from the Korean Pop (K-pop) group known as BTS.
